The visiting siren...
I couldn’t have asked for a better day. My querida Jenevive came for a visit. She had been experiencing a tough time at home and wanted to get away. So I bought her tickets and we set out to sail in the ocean. We were under the sun all day. Making her skin a luscious golden caramel. Jenevive’s beautiful voice was like a siren. We held each another, not wanting the day to end. The sun set and Jenevive became quiet and still. She stared at the dock and land. I wondered what was on her mind but did not ask. Did she enjoy the day as much as me? I was concerned but want to know – when is the right time to interrupt a person’s thoughts?

My time with stingrays...
Today I saw Southern Stingrays during my scuba diving trip in the Cayman Islands. They are such graceful creatures. Stingrays float gently in the water and have a friendly disposition. I couldn’t help but reach out and touch the smooth, leathery skin. The creature was gliding across the sand as it fed on small shellfish and worms. If you had the chance, would you go scuba diving with stingrays?
